Bodero is a retail discount store that is making huge waves in the discount market, offering unprecedented low prices and unbelievable value on items that are not generally sold by conventional variety stores. Its range is diverse, selling daily needs, consumables and everyday items by highly recognisable brands.
We helped Bodero find its voice and enhance its in-store customer experience through a visual identity system inspired by the stockrooms and behind-the-scenes pace of the business. Elements from loading zones, shipping containers, warehouses and transportation heavily informed the visual language and physical layout of the space. We chose to pair a no frills, pragmatic and structural monospaced font with subtle diagonal angles and linework that suggest speed, slashed prices and a sense of urgency.
