Inspired by the cosy ambience of traditional Irish pubs, the brief focused on sympathetically restoring the historic building whilst creating a contemporary local favourite for the community with a welcoming atmosphere.

When asked to design a traditional feeling pub for a contemporary demographic the balance of traditional and modern elements was considered to ensure the design would be timeless yet exciting enough to spark joy and intrigue to its punters for years to come. In an environment where trends come and go, Studio Y strive to design spaces that stand the test of time.
