Confetti is an award-winning design studio whose expertise lies in creating confident & memorable brands. Our partnership with Confetti Studio means a symbiotic relationship emerges between space and brand.
Where others see a blank wall, specialist painter Clare Scanlan sees an opportunity to explore texture, shadow and depth. Her bespoke wall treatments are the final touch that have transformed many a Studio Y project into something otherworldly.
We’ve collaborated with renowned street artist Drez on a handful of projects: he’s the whiz behind the technicolour feature beer taps at Bridge Road Brewers Brunswick, and recently channelled the 90s for some fresh custom murals at our Royal Stacks Emporium store.
A talented designer who brings a fresh spirit, sense of humour and impressive design capabilities to the studio. Joel worked as a product designer for several companies prior to founding his own studio Paraform. Of his 10 years of experience in Industrial Design, he's spent 5 of these collaborating with us at Studio Y.
Specialising in the development of design concepts through intuitive and abstract thinking, Joel's understanding of how to combine and adapt creative and technical capabilities is a complement to our design ethos.
Mood Workshop are 1) an incredibly talented Melbourne-based joinery and furniture design studio, led by local maker Craig Shanahan and 2) great blokes. They’re the ones behind the ingenious wooden fit out at Brick Lane Market, as well as our handcrafted Studio Y boardroom table.
A Studio Y project isn’t complete until the lightbulbs are screwed in. We’ve worked with lighting specialists Ambience to illuminate dozens of our venues; with their state-of-the-art onsite production facilities, they make light work of bringing our visions to life.
Each Y space is one-of-a-kind, which means custom lighting is often a must. We’ve entrusted lighting artisans Ilanel with designing bespoke creations for many of our projects, including the intergalactic Starward Whisky logo pendant light at Starward Distillery & Bar.
Ryan Sauer is an award-winning and Aria nominated music video director based in Melbourne, Australia. He brings years of experience working with some of the biggest names in music and advertising.
With a keen focus on taking ideas from inception through to the end of post-production, Ryan provides both professional production and creative direction to each and every project.
