We have a beautiful thing going with chef Shane Delia and design geniuses Confetti Studio – this 'dream team,' as Delia calls it, has worked together to bring his venues Bar Jayda, Layla, Biggie Smalls and Maha North to life.

For the latter, Delia decided that his exisiting northside venue Maha Bar needed a little refresh. Enter Maha North: hardly your typical Collingwood wine bar. With a Levantine-inflected menu (think Turkish delight martinis and olive-stuffed filo cigars), the interior pulls from the same points of reference.

When redesigning the intimate 60-seater, we explored texture to Babylonian effect; deep green marble and wood panelling playing off against accents of reeded glass, mirror and full moon pendant lighting.
