A site so secluded that we could only access it by boat – a dream. For this Queensland private home commission, we worked closely in collaboration with the client and owner-builder to design a self-sufficient, off-grid residence perfect for a young family.

The structure is divided into two distinct functional spaces interconnected by an outdoor area: the larger section accommodating the garage storage and workshop facilities, with sleeping quarters for nine people situated above. Meanwhile, the smaller section houses the kitchen lounge and dining area.
