Studio Y
Studio Y
If you’ve ever driven down St Kilda Road, you’re probably familiar with the old lighting shop that was perpetually (but never really) closing down. Today, it’s home to Studio Y's office – and we’ve created our dream space in every regard.
With respect to the heritage of the site, we’ve given it the Studio Y spin; working with our dearest collaborators to translate our new brand identity by Confetti Studio into a tangible space. Think: a textured feature wall by Scanlan & Makers, as well as lashings of candy pink and red gloss paint. A globular feature light by Ilanel and strip lighting by Ambience. Sustainable cork across the walls, plus vibrant furniture by Globewest and FUTURE re MADE.

On the mezzanine, our boardroom boasts a custom table by Mood Workshop, our Rone artwork has found a happy new home, and marble is used to maximum effect in the kitchenette and bathrooms.
Downstairs, it’s a full-blown speakeasy with rounded booth seating (with a champagne bucket built in), a well-stocked bar, and velvet curtains safeguarding Studio Y’s library of samples and swatches.
