BrewDog Pentridge
BrewDog Pentridge
While the clientele might look a little different these days, our design for BrewDog Pentridge takes ample inspiration from the site’s former life as a prison. The original bluestone walls of the hospital division remain intact; prison cell doors have been repurposed; and new fixtures and fittings have been carefully selected to fit the jailhouse theme.

A decade ago, archeological works unearthed the remains of Pentridge’s three ‘airing yards,’ circular panopticons where prisoners were allowed to exercise for an hour a day. Our 360-degree beer garden nods to this, but we’ll let you linger here as long as you please.
